After reading about Brexit and housing policy, I stumbled upon an interesting read by the Economist. The article highlights that while citizens were staunchly opposed to building new homes in the area, once they reframed the idea as a beautification project, people were much happier to support the project. A think tank named Policy Exchange came up with the beauty agenda. Overall this just goes to show that design lives beyond the museum and can truly effect how people live their lives.
