Currently in the 21st century, most of the movies we watch employ CG — computer graphics. Computer graphics are effective and efficient in that it is able to create scenes and situations that are not possible either due to budget restraint, time period differences, or just non-extant fantasy genres. CG is a way for people to create art on the computer, much like how we did through our project 2, except on a much larger scale. It is definitely an art form that is very much appreciated and available to many as we’re constantly exposed to CG with or without knowing the fact that it is created by the computer. I think that the use of CG enables us to become more interacted with the art of film and amplifies how engaging the movie is — truly enabling the movie to take us into a journey with the character in that moment, era, and world.
