This Friday from 12-1, Njideka Akunyili Crosby will be giving a lecture at PAFA as a part of their visiting artists program.
Crosby is a visual artist who creates mixed-media figure paintings.Her work is informed by her childhood growing up both in Nigeria and America. In her works, she uses photographic transfers, paint, collage, pencil drawing, marble dust and fabric, and more mediums to create a layered effect in her work, blurring the lines between photography, collage, painting, and drawing.
