Cloud Balloons

Charles Pétillion, a famous French artist, used a very common object to turn it into a form of artwork. He used about 100,000 white balloons that emitted light to decorate the interior of the Covent Garden in London as his artwork showcase for the London Design Festival back in 2015, and the visual, as expected, was stunning. I think such artworks really accentuate the creativity of the artist in the artwork since it is a very casual object of no special asset, but his idea and artistic sense were able to transform such a mundane object into an art piece. I think it’s an accessible artwork to not only the professional art critiques but also regular people with not much artsy background which appeals well to the general public.
