Every year, Apple comes out with a new version of the iPhone. This year, Apple was the first publicly traded company to hit a $1 trillion market cap–hence, a release of the next iteration of iPhone was inevitable for the tech titan. The question that I would like to pose is: How does Apple get users like you and me to continue buying new iPhones year after year, even with non-groundbreaking changes? The answer I’d argue, lays within their dedication to art and aesthetic.
The image above was on the cover of Apple’s website today and is a beautiful work of art. Another example is below.
I feel that the aesthetically pleasing marketing campaigns that are attributed with Apple products, ultimately entice users to fall in love with the product and want the newest one. Do you think Apple’s use of art and devotion to user experience plays a role in their success? Let me know in the comments!
